Introducing The Alex!

The Alex is a dedicated local charity that provides Calgarians with a compassionate, holistic approach to healthcare. Having been granted Charitable status in 1973, The Alex has had the opportunity to grow with our great City.


Costen & Associates is excited and proud to announce that we have selected The Alex as our 2013 Charity of the Year!


Over the past ten years, we have donated to many deserving Charities through our Customer Referral Program. Each year, we ask our team and our clients for suggestions on which organizations they feel would benefit from our assistance as our next Charity of the Year.


For 2013, The Alex has been chosen for its clearly delineated values, which we see as being in alignment with Costen & Associates’ Value for delivering high impact services to our clients. We see that the difference The Alex is making is about investing in people first. They are cultivating partnerships that come with building solid relationships and knowing that the quality of what they are creating in the community is truly superior.


The Alex offers many different services to its clients, including both Health Care and Housing programs. The Health Care program provides primary health care to those who need it most and who may have difficulty otherwise accessing it. They even provide a mobile community health bus, a youth health bus, and a dental health bus, visiting eight different locations weekly. Their Housing program provides a safe and stable environment to those in need, allowing them the ability to work through their challenges without worrying about having a roof over their heads.
